Cle Elum homeowners don't need another sales pitch about their roof — they need someone who shows up, explains what's actually wrong, and fixes it right the first time.
Before Roof Repair Smedway was a name on a truck, our foremen were already up on ladders across Cle Elum, WA, figuring out which shingle brands actually hold their seal through a rough season and which ones just look good in a showroom.
Ask to see our Cle Elum, WA license and insurance certificate and you'll have it in your hand before the estimate even starts.
Every Roofing job, from a single flashing repair to a full Cle Elum tear-off, gets built to the same standard: the one that holds up, not the one that's fastest to invoice.
Proof of licensing before the first ladder goes up.
Storms don't wait for office hours, so our on-call line doesn't either.
No invoice surprises once work is underway.
We already know Cle Elum's weather patterns and permit process.
A roof rarely just fails one day — it usually spends months quietly showing signs that get written off as cosmetic.
None of the six signs below require an emergency call on their own, but each one is worth a scheduled inspection before it turns into something bigger.
Shingles shed their protective granules as they wear down, and a gutter full of grit is an early tell.
A cupped shingle traps moisture instead of shedding it, which speeds up decking rot underneath.
Pinpricks of light in the attic are an early, fixable version of what becomes a leak later.
Stains grow slowly, which is exactly why they get ignored until they spread.
A slow leak or failing ventilation can quietly drive up cooling costs before you notice the leak itself.
Even a small missing section can let in enough water to rot decking in a single storm.
Whatever the issue — emergency, routine, or somewhere in between — it gets handled by a crew that specializes in that exact type of work.
These categories aren't marketing labels; they reflect how our crews are actually organized and dispatched across Cle Elum, WA.
Active leaks get priority dispatch — a temporary cover first, a proper repair as soon as the crew can get materials on-site.
From a few cracked shingles to a complete tear-off, residential jobs get scoped against manufacturer spec, not a rough guess.
Commercial roofs run different membrane systems entirely, and our crews are trained specifically on TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen.
A full tear-off strips the roof to the decking, replaces any damaged boards, and rebuilds with new underlayment and shingles to current code.
A proper inspection checks flashing, fasteners, ventilation, and granule wear before small issues become leaks.
Ice-dam prevention, dormer flashing, and unusual roof pitches get handled by our senior technicians specifically.
Four steps, no surprises in between — here's exactly what happens after you pick up the phone.
A dispatcher logs your address, roof type, and the problem, then schedules based on urgency.
The inspection covers decking, flashing, and ventilation, not just the obvious visible damage.
Financing and insurance-claim questions are addressed at this stage.
A final walkthrough confirms everything matches the agreed scope.
If you've been burned by a roofing company before, these are the specific things we do differently, not just a promise that we're "better."
We give you an honest arrival window instead of a vague "sometime this week."
We'd rather lose a bid on an honest price than win one that grows later.
Certifications stay current so material warranties remain valid after installation.
Every job includes a written labor warranty separate from the shingle manufacturer's coverage.
We're not your insurance company, but we make that part of the process easier.
Some roofs need a full reroof; plenty just need one honest repair.
Every job closes with a written workmanship guarantee, separate from whatever the material manufacturer already covers — if something's wrong, we come back and fix it.
No surprise line items appear after the fact; anything that changes the scope gets discussed with you directly.
None of this is a marketing line — it's how every Cle Elum job actually gets closed out, warranty paperwork included.
Roof Repair Smedway dispatches Roofing crews throughout Cle Elum and the surrounding communities across Cle Elum, WA, with coverage available further out on request.
When a storm moves through Cle Elum, WA and call volume spikes, active leaks get prioritized first while we communicate realistic wait times for everything else.
We'd rather confirm coverage on a quick call than have a homeowner assume they're out of range and skip calling entirely.
